Scholarship

Are you a senior graduating this year or a college student? You may be eligible for our Annual St. Panteleimon of Andros Society Scholarship!

Starting this year the Andros Society will award two scholarships for $500 each to two qualifying students attending a university, college or vocational school in the United States of America.

To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Be a candidate for post high school education or college student, either academic or vocational

• Demonstrate academic achievement

• Parent or self shall be a standing member of this society

The scholarships will be awarded to our recipient winner at the November annual dance on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

Please complete the following to submit an entry:

• Attached Application

• Obtain a copy of your transcript

• 2 Professional and 1 Personal Recommendations

• Complete the essay questions below (no longer than one page in Times New Roman, 12 point font and double spaced)

What is your proposed field of study? What are your goals in continuing your education? What aspect of your Hellenic background do you consider has had the most impact on your education? Why do you think you would be a good candidate?

Deadline:

The completed applications and all accompanying required information must reach the committee no later than: October 1, 2024.
